The objective of the Advanced Serger Club is to help students discover more creative ways to use their advanced level sergers.  The guided independent study style of teaching in this class will allow the students to practice a variety of techniques as they create a pre-planned project or branch off into their own creative project ideas.  Students need a serger that is capable of cover stitch and chain stitch as well as overlock stitches and also need to be able to thread and change settings on their own.  A complete list of qualified sergers can be found below.

Qualified Combination Cover Stitch/Overlock Sergers

• Viking:  936, s21, s25
• BabyLock: Evolve, Evolution
• Elna: 945, 745

Cover Stitch Only Sergers

• BabyLock BLCS or Elna 434 only if paired with one of the above combination sergers or one of the following overlock only sergers:
• BabyLock: Imagine, Enlighten
• Viking 910
